Deloitte has presented a market study aimed to mark the trends and opportunities in the crane industry, lifting and handling from now until 2018.
This study reflects the current reality of the sector worldwide, showing growth trends according to each country. In total they have studied data from 44 countries around the world, setting a record of their situation and considering his future up to 2018.
Asia, the biggest market
With 45.7% of the sector, Asia-Pacific was consolidated in 2013 as the largest market in the world in the field of lifting and handling.
Europe is the next largest market with 33.6% of the total and North America stays in third place with 11.9%.
Improving figures in Europe
The study concludes that the European trend is very positive due to growth in several countries, reaching 35.4% of the sector.
